Episode 6 - Jaye Hill
Confidence is hard to come by, and for many women, it’s something cultivated over time rather than something that just happens naturally. Any woman in business knows that it is one thing to have confidence in yourself, and it’s another thing entirely to have confidence in your work and to feel secure in sharing it widely with the world. With the rise of social media and people promoting the perfect image, it’s all too easy to compare yourself to others and unknowingly let it impact the way you think and feel about what you bring to the table.
So how do you cultivate confidence? This is one of the topics I dive into in my latest podcast conversation with Seattle area makeup artist & sugaring specialist, Jaye Hill. In this episode, we talk in depth about the examples we want to set for our children, and how to manage self confidence in a world of social media self promoters. Along with our conversation about confidence, we also talk about the importance of creating a real life network of women to go to for support and encouragement, and how to see life’s challenges as a positive force pushing you toward the path you’re really meant to be on.
